Developing Tyler County

logo + brand creation letterhead design online survey form customized QR code creation Developing Tyler County is comprised of a group of individuals who want to bring much needed and wanted businesses and services to their community. They are curious to what the residents of their county would want to see in their towns in the near future and wanted to put together an online survey. The county they serve is made up of a collection of small towns out in Southeast Texas with the nicest country folk you can imagine. Using a country style font as well as keeping to geological visual appeal, I created a design that showed off Developing Tyler County's patriotism by including their county’s flower: the Dogwood. Keeping the logo simple, but integrated with the county itself, showed off the group's pride and gave the residence comfort that the individuals of Developing Tyler County really were who they say: some good people who care. A printed flyer was created for advertisement of the online survey with a customized QR code for easy mobile access. The survey itself consisted of only a few key questions that were direct and to the point. Developing Tyler County did not want residents to be daunted by a long survey or extended questions that didn't seem relevant. These questions allowed all residents from teens to senior citizens to participate while keeping track of the demographics of each participant. Also, a blank text box can be scary, so drop down answer choices were created for ease and simplicity, but included the option for participants to create their own answers so the survey was never limiting.
